Organizations like Google & Yahoo! played major roles in the evolution of Hadoop. We will see how.
This session is all about the evolution of Hadoop and the milestones set in the process.
We will also see how different organizations like Facebook still continue to contribute to the growth of Hadoop.
Hadoop is a funny name. We will look at the rationale behind such a naming convention followed by the creators.
In the next session, we will define Hadoop and start exploring all it’s features.
