In the World Choir Championships which was held in Graz, Austria between 10th-17th July 2011, Boğaziçi Jazz Choir became the ‘WORLD CHAMPION’ in Contemporary Music and Folklore categories, and got the ‘second prize’ in Mixed Choirs category. Also winning 2 more gold medals in ‘Grand Prix of Choral Music’ the champions competed in, the choir has come back to Turkey with a total of 5 gold medals.

10-17 Temmuz tarihlerinde Avusturya’nın Graz kentinde düzenlenen Dünya Koro Şampiyonası’nda, Çağdaş Müzik ve Folklor kategorilerinde ‘DÜNYA ŞAMPİYONU’, Karma Korolar kategorisinde ise ‘Dünya İkincisi’ olan Boğaziçi Caz Korosu; şampiyonların yarıştığı ‘Grand Prix’de ise 2 altın madalya kazanarak toplam 5 altın madalya ile Türkiye’ye döndü.
