পশ্চিমবঙ্গের দিঘা শহরে শুরু হয়েছে জগন্নাথদেবের স্নানযাত্রার জোর প্রস্তুতি। ১১ জুন ২০২৫ তারিখে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে এই মহোৎসব, যা সম্পূর্ণরূপে পুরীর ঐতিহ্যবাহী রীতিনীতির অনুসরণে অনুষ্ঠিত হচ্ছে। অনুষ্ঠান শুরু হবে সকাল ৯টা থেকে ‘পাহান্ডি বিজয়’ মিছিল দিয়ে, এরপর সকাল ১১টায় স্নানযাত্রা, যেখানে জগন্নাথ, বলভদ্র, সুভদ্রা ও সুদর্শন দেবতাদের স্নান করানো হবে। তারপর দুপুর ১টা থেকে রাত ৮টা পর্যন্ত চলবে গজাবেশ দর্শন – অর্থাৎ হাতির সাজে দেবদর্শন। ১২ জুন থেকে ২৫ জুন পর্যন্ত দেবতারা যাবেন বিশ্রামে, যা ‘অনাবাসর’ নামে পরিচিত। এরপর ২৭ জুন অনুষ্ঠিত হবে বহু প্রতীক্ষিত রথযাত্রা।

Digha, West Bengal is witnessing a wave of devotion as the Snan Yatra of Lord Jagannath is all set to take place on 11 June 2025. Organised in line with the traditional rituals of Puri, the event includes ceremonial bathing and Gajavesh Darshan of Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, Subhadra, and Sudarshan. The rituals begin at 9 a.m. with Pahandi Vijay, followed by the Snan Yatra at 11 a.m., where the deities will be bathed in public view. From 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., devotees will witness the rare Gajavesh Darshan (elephant attire). After the ritual, the deities will enter Anavasara from 12 June to 25 June, a period when they rest and recover before the Rath Yatra on 27 June.
